Laser Machine Training near Birmingham – Rockwood Academy GCC X252 80 watt
The visit to Rockwood Academy, our customer, was for a training session on the customers installed flatbed laser markers. This was conducted by our service engineer ‘Gavin Edwards’. He performed a training course on a competitors machine, in this case a GCC X252 80 watt machine, the laser training course included: –
- Walk around and demonstration of the laser machine functions and capabilities
- General Maintenance of the laser and its components
- Laser safety
- Software and driver set up and use
- Extraction maintenance
- Tips & tricks on the laser
Training on GCC X252
The training was undertaken with some staff members of Rockwood Academy, this included the Head of the Design and Technology department
Walk Around and Demonstration of the Laser Machine
The staff members were shown around the machine to give them an overview of what components were on the outside and inside of the machine.
General Maintenance of the Laser and it’s Components
The staff members were shown the technics and importance of general maintenance of the machine, the laser and it’s components.
Laser Safety
The staff members were shown the safety features of the laser machine and the possible issues facing different kind of laser safety components
Software Training and Driver Setup and Use
The staff members were shown key features with the 2D design software and functions of the laser driver, that were supplied with the machine
Extraction Maintenance
The staff members were shown the workings of the Bofa AD Oracle iQ extractor unit and how to replace the Combined Filter and the pre-filter. All of which, and more, can be found on our Online Laser Shop
Tips and Tricks of the Laser
