The customer had a Bofa AD Oracle iQ fume extraction system. The filters were showing as full on the intelligent display on the unit, and so they required changing and so the engineer used the customers spare Main filter and pre-filter.
The machines laser power was tested from the nozzle at the end of the service visit to ensure optimal performance the laser power was shown to be 93.6w @ 80% 26mA power.

The machines belts were very loose. The Y – axis left hand side belt was loose and this was re-tensioned to match the other belts position and tension. The X – Gantry belt was also loose. This was also re-tensioned.
The main focusing lens had had it’s protective lens coating damaged, so a replacement 2″ lens was fitted.
The rear cooling fan of the electrical cabinet was not working. The issues was diagnosed to the fan having been assembled into the machine and overtightened and hence causing the fan to jam and not rotate. This was installed correctly and the cooling fan now working as expected.
