Laser Machine Service near Reigate, on a 6090 – 80watt Thinklaser Lightblade Machines – Personalise 365
A visit to a customer, Personalise365 was requested as the customer had wanted a service on the machine, just to make sure that everything was ok, as the unit was a vital part of her business. The service was conducted by our service engineer ‘Gavin Edwards’: –

The engineer arrived on site and commenced the laser machine service. The machine had been kept in a good condition. The following is a standard list of items carried out on a laser machine service.
- Mirror Inspection & Clean
- Lens Inspection & Clean
- Water Cooling Chiller Inspection, Clean, Drain & Refill
- Inspect, Clean and Lubricate all Linear/Guide Rails
- Auto Focus Pen Inspection & Clean
- Honey Comb Bed Inspection & Leveling
- Electronics Inspection
- Safety Interlocks Inspection & Test
- Check overall machine function by Test Cutting Customer Materials
Following on from the above checks it was found that the machine bed needed slight adjustment as it was 1mm down on the top right of the machine. The lens dust cover on the end of the laser tube had also shown to have a ‘mark’ on it, this mark would not come off with cleaning, so the lens was replaced with new. The LED strip, illuminating the interior of the machine was also flickering in one of the sections and this was also replaced. The laser power was measured from the machines nozzle and was shown to be 93.5w @80% 25mA.
