Laser Machine Service near Luton, Thinklaser 6090 80 watts – Stockwood Park Academy
A visit to a customer, Stockwood Park Academy was required as the customer had requested their annual laser service on their laser machine, which we would recommend for all our customers. The laser service was conducted by our highly experienced service engineer ‘Gavin Edwards’. The service visit included: –
Thinklaser Lightblade 6090 80 watt
Upon arrival at Stockwood Park Academy the flatbed machine was visually inspected. The machine was in good condition.
The service of the machine was then started. The machine was hoovered and cleaned inside and out. The laser power was measured from the nozzle aperture and was shown to be 70w.
The beam realignment was checked and was pretty accurate. The only adjustment that was needed was a small adjustment on the third mirror to ensure that the beam was central to the nozzle aperture.
The following remaining item of the service were carried out with no issues: –
- Inspect and Clean all Mirrors and Lens
- Nozzle Inspection & Clean
- Water Cooling Chiller Inspection, Clean, Drain & Refill
- Inspect, Clean and Lubricate all Linear/Guide Rails
- Calibrate Bed Level
- Auto Focus Pen Inspection & Clean
- Electronics Inspection
- Safety Interlocks Inspection & Test
As a final check the laser power was measured again. The laser powered was now measured to be 75w @22mA 74%. The service of the laser machine was now completed and the customer files were tested on the machine. The customer was happy with the service.
