Laser Machine Service near Chessington, Thinklaser 1290 130 watts – Aztec Events Services
A visit to a customer, Aztec Events Services was required as the customer had requested their annual laser service on their flatbed laser machine, which we would recommend for all our customers. The laser service was conducted by our highly experienced service engineer ‘Gavin Edwards’. The service visit included: –

Upon arrival at Aztec Events Services the flatbed machine was visually inspected. The machine was in good condition.
The service of the machine was then started. The laser power is usually the first thing that is checked on the machine. In this case whilst setting up the equipment to perform the laser power measurement the laser exit aperture nozzle was found to be loose and dirty. This was cleaned and re-secured in place.
The following remaining item of the service were carried out with no issues: –
- Inspect and Clean all Mirrors and Lens
- Water Cooling Chiller Inspection, Clean, Drain & Refill
- Inspect, Clean and Lubricate all Linear/Guide Rails
- Calibrate Bed Level – Front left was 1mm lower. Adjusted and checked
- Auto Focus Pen Inspection & Clean
- Electronics Inspection
- Safety Interlocks Inspection & Test
The laser alignment was checked but was found to be good in all the testing criteria. The laser power was measured and was shown to be 110w @28mA 82%. The service of the laser machine was now completed and the customer files were tested on the machine. The customer was happy with the service.
The customer does all sort of jobs on their machine, but were happy to show us some recent jobs that they had been utilising the Thinklaser Lightblade for, these were the laser cutting of foam panels as protective packaging for some of their equipment. Below are some of their items produced: –
