Laser Machine Service near Braintree, on 4 x 4060 Thinklaser Lightblade Machines – Rustic Dish
A visit to a customer, The Rustic Dish Ltd was required as the customer had requested an annual service be conducted on their 4 x Lightblade machines. The service was conducted by our service engineer ‘Gavin Edwards’. The customer was so happy with our service that they left us a ‘5*’ Google review. The service visit included: –
Upon arrival at The Rustic Dish Ltd the machines was visually inspected and the laser services started: –
Thinklaser Lightblade 4060 60 watt – LB225
The service visit was started on their first delivered machine. The customer said that this machine was running well, but sometimes they would have to run the job twice.
The engineer inspected the machine and found the tube to be very dirty, he measure the power coming from the nozzle at 20w. He replaced the tube and aligned as normally is required when installing new tubes. He then measured the power again and the machine was now measuring 69.8w @82% 22mA. It was also found that the auto focus’s internal components had been cross threaded which meant the machine was out of focus. This unit was replaced and focus setup for the new auto focus unit. The chiller for this machine was topped up and the machine fully tested on some live jobs. The customer was happy with the new results.
Thinklaser Lightblade 4060 60 watt – LB229
The service visit was then continued with their next machine. The customer reported that the machine was running as expected and hadn’t seen any issues with it. The laser power was measured from the nozzle at 35w @78%. The laser tube was inspected and a burned in black spot was found on the output lens, the laser tube was replaced from the customers own spare stock. The laser power now measured 64.5w @89% 22mA. The chiller was also topped up and more live jobs run for testing purposes. The customer was also happy with these new results.
Thinklaser Lightblade 4060 60 watt – LB231
The service visit was continued on their 3rd of 4 machine. The customer said that there was an issue with this particular machine, as the machine was not firing. The engineer checked the laser tube and it was also found to be very dirty and no laser energy was being produced from it. Another 60 watt tube from the customers stock was installed and the machine realigned. The laser power now measured 68.2w @77% 22mA. The chiller on this unit also required topping up with water. The same live jobs were used to test the output of this machine and once again the customer was happy with the new products produced.
Thinklaser Lightblade 4060 60 watt – LB235
The service visit was concluded on their last machine. Once again the customer had said that there were no issues with the machine. The engineer measured the power from the nozzle and it measured 23w @78%. The customer had no more tubes available from their spare stock, so a new TKL 60 watt tube was used. After the alignment was completed the laser power from the nozzle measured 70.2w @78% 22mA . The chiller also required a little bit of topping up and the customer tested the machine with live jobs. All were happy with the results.

- Auto Focus Pen Inspection & Clean
- Honey Comb Bed Inspection & Leveling
- Electronics Inspection
- Safety Interlocks Inspection & Test
- Check overall machine function by Test Cutting Customer Materials
