Laser Machine Service near Aylesbury, Thinklaser 4060 60 watts – Blue River Controls
A visit to a customer, Blue River Controls was required as the customer had requested their annual service on their laser machine, which we would recommend for all our customers. The laser service was conducted by our highly experienced service engineer ‘Gavin Edwards’. The service visit included: –

Upon arrival at Blue River Controls the flatbed machine was visually inspected. The machine was in good condition.
The service of the machine was then started. The machine was hoovered and cleaned inside and out. The laser power was measured from the nozzle aperture and was shown to be 55w @22mA 74%.
The beam realignment was checked and was pretty accurate. The only adjustment that was needed was a small adjustment on the third mirror to ensure that the beam was central to the nozzle aperture.
The following remaining item of the service were carried out with no issues: –
- Nozzle Inspection & Clean
- Water Cooling Chiller Inspection, Clean, Drain & Refill
- Inspect, Clean and Lubricate all Linear/Guide Rails
- Calibrate Bed Level
- Auto Focus Pen Inspection & Clean
- Electronics Inspection
- Safety Interlocks Inspection & Test
As a final check the laser power was measured again. The laser powered was now measured to be 62.2w @22mA 74%. The service of the laser machine was now completed and the customer files were tested on the machine. The customer was happy with the service.
