Laser Machine Repair near Ealing, on a 1290 80 watt HPC LaserScript Machine – Drayton Manor High School
A visit to a new customer, DRAYTON MANOR HIGH SCHOOL was required as the customer had reported an issue with their flatbed laser machine. The issue that was reported was that the laser was not working as expected The laser repair was conducted by our highly experienced service engineer ‘Gavin Edwards’. The laser repair visit included: –
Upon arrival at DRAYTON MANOR HIGH SCHOOL the machine was visually inspected. It was noted that there was very little air coming from the end of the nozzle. The pipework was checked all along it’s length and it was found to be damaged and air was escaping. This was replaced.
The rest of the machine was then checked over. All mirrors and lens were inspected and the focusing lens with the nozzle housing was found to have a small crack on one side of the lens. This was replaced with a new 2″ lens.
The system alignment was then checked and the system required realigning. After the realigning of the HPC Laserscript machine the power from the nozzle was checked and was shown to be 87w @75%.

- Safety Interlocks Inspection & Test
As part of general inspection of the system, the main fan grill was inspected and although not enough to cause a significant reduction in extraction, it was cleaned to prevent the build up of materials.
A number of jobs were then run on the machine and all was shown to be working as the customer expects. This concluded the laser repair.
