Laser Extraction Install near Bromley on a Flux Beambox – Babington House School
A visit to a customer, Babington House School was requested as the customer had purchased from us a Bofa AD350 to replace their Flux Air extractor, due to the latter’s poor performance on the extraction of their Flux Beambox unit and our previous recommendation on our last visit . This extraction installation was conducted by our highly experienced laser machine service engineer ‘Gavin Edwards’.
Flux Beambox
Upon arrival at Babington House School the Flux Air unit was disconnected from the laser machine.
The axial fan that is present on the back of the Flux unit was also removed as this would cause disruption to the extraction air flow through the Flux machine.
The AD350 Bofa unit was installed next to the Flux machine and plumbed into the back of the unit. It was turned on and a number of jobs were run in order to specify the correct setting for a good extraction flow rate. The unit was set at 50%.
The customer requested that the old Flux Air extraction unit was removed from site.
