Purex Pre-filters are designed to capture larger particles before they can enter the main HEPA filter. Without these pre-filters in place, the main filter life would be significantly shorter.

For laser applications, we always recommend the Purex Filter Labyrinth F8/9 variant as they offer greater protection for the main filter.
