Physical hand held IR detectors are another way to analyse a lasers beam quality. With its highly efficient laser sensitive material the View-IT Wand has the ability to visually show any anomalies in a laser beam. A green colour will be shown when a laser is emitted with a Wavelength of 800-1700nm from either a Pulsed or Continuous Wave laser system.
Power Meter
Laser Power Meters are one of the many types of equipment that are used to analyse a laser’s performance. These meters are used to measure Continuous wave Industrial, Medical and Scientific lasers. Capable of measuring power levels that range from pW to KW, power meters are highly sensitive using Thermopile sensors to achieve accurate measurements. Compact fan assisted units able to withstand continuous high power levels.
